I'm looking for a good switch that includes things like web-based management, graphs/reporting of some kind, SNMP support, etc.

I've been looking at the Intel 510-T's but they appear to have been discontinued a while ago and was hoping for something a little newer if possible. We're only looking for 8-16 ports at the moment.

What brand/model do you recommend? What do you use?

Thanks in advance. :)

I would suggest any managed HP Procurves, such as the 2424M.. You can dig them up on ebay. Even though it is costly, few hundred dollars, it's considered "middle class" as compared to extreme's or cisco's.

I believe 24xx series are non-managed switches. You want HP 25xx series :)

I will also recommend you to take a look at Dell's switches. Quite affordable managed switches, IMHO.

Definitely the ProCurves. Great features. Nice price. Very reliable.
