I'd like to hear from people who are using phpManager. I'm not really interested in rants, just those of you who can help me out. Of course, if you have any good suggestions I'm always glad to hear.

I bought the app recently before I discovered this board, and paid good money, so I want to at least try and make it work!

Has anyone had this error come up after a successful installation and you go to login, and if so, how did you fix it?

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/username/public_html/phpmanager/config.php(1) : eval()'d code on line 62

Warning: main(../templates/languages/): failed to open stream: Success in /home/username/public_html/phpmanager/admin/index.php on line 47

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '../templates/languages/' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear/:/usr/lib/php/') in /home/username/public_html/phpmanager/admin/index.php on line 47

Thanks,

It looks like an installation problem. Did you follow the included readme/installation instructions? If not, your best bet would be to ask the phpmanager team themselves or someone here might be able to assist you.

maybe you can tell me what I'm doing wrong...the phpManager guys are only somewhat helpful. I upload the phpManager folder to my public_html directory binary. chmod config1,2,3,4, and 5 to 666. Chmod all files in email to 666. I install successfully, connect to db, then asked to login, which is where I get that error message.

I don't know if it matters, but I'm on a shared ip. My server ip is different than my ns1 and ns2.

Any clues?

Thanks

Have you registered for the helpdesk at phpmanager? You might try that. Their forum lately has become a place to praise the new owners and thier actions instead of support. If you can contact phpJoe at phpManager he should be able to help you. I have installed and used phpmanager but all the fixes, downtime, and required mods to work have made it hard to work with.

Good Luck
