I just installed PHPManager, and after doing all that they say, I get a blank screen....they say:

Blank screen on installation - Your php installation does not have the mcrypt() libraries. You will have to install them

They have instructions for ensim and plesk, but not for cPanel, which I have. What do I need to do?

Hi Ian,

So you have a cPanel server and root access? If so then....

1. Log in as root
2. Type "cd /scripts" (without quotation marks :))
3. Type "./easyapache" - wait about 30 seconds to a minute while it downloads some files.
4. From the dropdown menu select option 4 I believe - Mcrypt() support.
5. Go and get a cup of coffee and relax for 10-15 minutes :)
6. That's it - sorted :)

Also, if you have the WHM module for PHP Manager you must upload installation.php and whmconfig.php in binary mode else you'll get weird error messages.

Hope this helps :)

should I upload the whm module before I do that?

I installed the main PHP Manager stuff first of all.

Then just pop the WHM module in afterwards.

Wow - are you refreshing this page? That was one quick reply :)

;)

(not me though :D)

Good luck, it's ok to install but the lack of instructions on how to do so are a pain to put it mildly.

...oh, and it was option 3 ;)

4 was for some other php thing.
