Hello Gang:

I have been working on a very large public service site for about three years now. I have had it hosted on Xoom / Nbci's free server. The site contains five main sections.

Dunbar_Creek_Project, is a detailed text and photo tour of the Dunbar Valley in southwestern PA.

Plants_and_Fungi Guide, is a 500 species key to the plants of southwestern Pennsylvania.

Gary's Fly Tying Pages contains instructions for tying
a number of fishing flies.

The Poetry Of Gary W. Sherwin, contains original poems
by yours truly, along with highly compressed microsoft audio files of readings of each poem by the poet.

The Photography of Gary W. Sherwin contains links to
some of my best digital photographs at various resolutions.

The Dunbar portion of the site is the main area, and is in the midst of a major upgrade, which will improve the quality of the images and the detail of the descriptions of the included tours.

The Plant Guide is a work in progress, that will eventually be available both for free on the net and as a CD-Rom for a fee.

The Photo section is under construction.

Currently, the site occupies about 500MB and is expected to grow to about 750 MB to 1 GB. Its bandwidth requirements are low, compared to its storage requirements as there are only about 50 regular visitors in a month and many of the pages are burried within tours or plant keys, where they are seldom viewed.

While they are still online, you can view the sites at:

I have the domain name sherwin.ws registered and currently pointing to Dellz.com's servers, however it is beginning to appear that they will not be able to provide me with the services they originaly advertised.

Thus, I am looking for an inexpensive server. I do not need a bunch of services, just domain hosting, 5 to 10 email accounts, cgi? and 750 to 1Gb of storage.

Please realize that this has been a volunteer effort to which I have expended thousands of hours of time and am devastated at the loss of hosting services scheduled on nbci. I need a very inexpensive host. Am willing to consider sponsorship as an alternative.

Thank you

You may want to post in the Advertising/ Offers section.
