Hi,

This is not a message to offend anyone just an opion that I want comments on. :)

I have been looking at Alabanza and at hosting companies that are using their system. I think it works well and seems to have everything needed in providing for webhosting companies (except SMTP)!

But am I the only one that is tired of every hosting company offering the same thing! With the only differece being packages and their tech support.

I search and search for a hosting company and everytime I find one that is cool or looks different I see that same out Control Panel screen shot.

Some one should suggest to Alabanza to provide a wide varilty of templates or different settings instead of just changing a few colors and some of the icons.

Don't get me wrong I like the control and everything that comes with it and in fact I will probably have the same type of screen shot when I start my hosting company.

I just want to know everybodys thoughts on this.

After all in this World wide market it's hard to succeed if you can't make your company stand out from the crowd.

I agree with Stephanie, you can make the control panel look very different.

Also of note is that Alabanza does offer SMTP on newer boxes as it uses POP Auth before SMTP as mentioned elsewhere.

I am very happy with Alabanza, there support is quick and curtious and very well informed (They have no thick tech support people like you usually find elsewhere).

I do agree .. a nice control panel will not fill my client list.. but it is a part of the over-all image of the hosting company and website, that would in turn help sell the services or products... I took a look at jumpline and their control panel does look nicer then the rest.
