Hello,

We all know there will be a follow up to Cpanel/WHM but what I don't like the most is that we the users aren't asked for what features we want it to have.

Or did they asked some of you? Anyways, maybe we can all post the things we want in it in this thread that doesn't exists in Cpanel/WHM so post them here and who knows the developers might see something they have overlooked.

I think both new ones should make it easy to have 2 or more domains pointing to the same user.

1)having layers of resellers
2)being able to move sites easily from one server to the other

Server clustering.

It used to be in the WHM but was not working yet.
It has now been removed.

Once you have more than one of these servers they become difficult to manage.
I got fed up waiting and wrote a small html interface that lets me manage 7 servers from one control panel, but its really something that needs to be got working as a matter of urgency.

How about a new licensing scheme so we don't have to marry a data center. Why not go the route of Plesk, Sphera or Ensim. Make it available so that anyone can purchase it and use it from anywhere. No more VDI's and Burst's.

Here's what i would like to see:

- Resellers being able to have their resellers
- Abbility to have 2 domains within the same user (each with their own emails and not pointing to the same site)
- Abbility to change/modity MX records within the user control panel
- The users being able to point domains to their main page without having to ask the host to do it, but with a limit of how many domains you can point
- The users being able to install the frontpage extensions directly from their control panel (a la alabanza)

That's about it :)

I think that is the current position.
Anayone can use cpanel at any location, but the pricing varies depending on the quantity you buy.

Hello,

for Me its:

- SignUp Script in PHP/HTML/...
- several Domains with the same User
* - several Languages (German, French, ...)
- HelpDesk
- Billing (International Currency-Codes please - not $ or US$, the right one is USD)
- own Logo and Colors
- PlugIns (from other Programmers but testet from NocSoft-Team - ok why not for a little Fee, something little for NocSoft and the Rest for Programmer) ala WebMin have it
** - Intelligent Update for Server/Script-Software (= NocSoft looks if there are Update for Server and as Example find actuall Apache & MailMan, now I can say ... only update MailMan ... then I know that the Apache have a Bug and so I can wait until a BugFree Apache is out)

That are some Options what I miss :D

* = When you need someone to translate it in German then I can make it !
** = OK this is a Dream and I'm not a Programmer so I dont know if it is possible

Please include billing integration for SureFire Commerce (sfcommerce.com) in the new control panel. This will be very good for those like me who are not in the US and cannot get a merchant account for authorize.net. sfCommerce is the only company that truely allows international merchant accounts so please try to include its billing in the new c panel.

One thing that would be nice is a theme setup, with several themes that a host can choose, customize, combine, and do whatever, but make it a lot easier then it is now. (I have to experiance, but I heard it takes a while)

I do like all the said things.
