Hey guys, i was wondering if anyone has been running Cpanel on Rh 9 or am i better off with RH 8...

I haven't run it on 9. However, I haven't heard of any problems with 9, but I have heard of people having issues with 8. All our servers run 7.3.

To my knowledge.. RH9 isn't offically supported yet...

The installers only go up to 8.0

i would go with redhat 7.3 ,i still have RH 9,but i haven't install yet

no, there is n link,but just asking will YIM work with RH 9, i have install RH 9 but it doesn't work with YIM, -(

I had a server with RH 9 and cPanel.. had to roll it back to RH8 to get php working. Was very frustrating. :(

I use RH8 an Cpanel and it works just as good as 7.3 ;)

why is php doesn't work with RH9 ?i think it support to work with php very well

I haven't had any problems either.

cpanel has pulled support for rh 9 completely - they say there are too many bugs for right now and it will be re-released when its more ready... didnt work for any of our customers at all.

PHP may very well work fine with RH 9 but RH 9 and cPanel do not work very well.. which I am suspecting caused PHP to completely not work in my case. :D

There were other screwy bugs too.. exim would crash often.. openssl wasnt working right.. maybe I was just unlucky.. but I doubt it.
