Does anyone know who else other than BurstNET is authorized to distribute the DarkORB version of Cpanel/Webhost Manager? I'm looking for someone who responds to support requests for Invalid License File(s) quicker than BurstNET does, who has already been the cause of two lost clients.
Any recommendations of distributors that have prompt support for license file issues would be greatly appreciated.

Strider

I believe site5.com also resells this software, but I am not 100% on that.

DarkOrb controls the license servers, not BurstNET.
We can add and remove licenses, but anytime one mysteriously disappears is not because we removed it (unless you didn't pay), but rather because of the bugs in the licensing system.
We have to wait for DarkOrb to fix the problem...we cannot do it.
Adam (from VDI) wrote the current licensing system...and it is full of problems.
Any distributor of DarkOrb Cpanel will have the same issues.
NOCSoft will have a different licensing system to get rid of these annoying errors.

Sean,
That does not excuse not getting responses to support tickets for days, even weeks... Communication is more important than anything else... If you actually told me that something was out of your hands, it would make me feel like I was actually getting the service I'm paying for... Because despite you being at the mercy of DarkORB, I pay you for the use of Cpanel... not DarkORB.
I understand what being a "middle-man" is all about, and all I ask for is a timely response to my inquiries, and to be kept informed when there are problems. I'm not asking you to be perfect, all I'm asking is to be kept informed.
I have lost $748 in monthly recurring revenues because of the problems with Cpanel... Not having a problem fixed for days stretching into weeks is not tolerable... Especially for something as simple as contacting DarkORB and asking them to add a server back into the licensing system that "mysteriously disappeared."
Any idea of when NOCSoft will be coming out? I'm very interested in eliminating this licensing problem as soon as possible.
Best Regards,
BurstNET

Sorry, but this is funny. I think if you need to remove your post, you shouldn't have posted it (the content) in the first place. That is an indication that an alternative effort should have been made before people end up having to take things back or remove posts. Heh.

Interserver.net is a customer of VDI... which would make me think that they do not use the DarkORB version of Cpanel. I'm looking for a Cpanel provider only... Not co-location or dedicated servers.

You'll have to contact Carlos directly about it. Your best bet would be to ICQ him or open a support ticket about it.
