I had a hosting account with my acen, which i left a few weeks back. Had a good service no problem. Then decided to have a go at re-selling and went back to myacen.

what i want to know is how long do they take to setup accounts. I was told by them its 24 to 48 hours. They took money from me on friday at 16.37 uk time and as of now monday 00.45 uk time still no account. I am waiting to get my clients hosted but they are taking longer than the 48 hours tops that they say it would take.

Is this the norm, as my clients are hounding me and its making me look bad as a re-seller. maybe i should not trust companies promises before telling clients they will have their hosting by monday. I have asked them for a response but all i got was

"Hello, Account setups take 24-48 to process as we hand verify each order for fraud."

and then today after 48 hours

Hello, Which reseller account did you order?

but no word on why it is taking over the 48 hours they say they take.

Myacen were ok at hosting a site for me but setup of my re-sellers account does seem to take too long considering, they have 24 hour support.

I will keep you all in touch when the final time comes through of the setup or if they refund my money.

I'd very much suggest hanging in there. Myacen and crew have shown themselves to be a good place to host and I suspect this may be a little glitch that will be sorted out soon enough.

Are you sure your order went through okay (did you get a receipt from the payment processor)?

Not sure how they operate, but it is also a public holiday in most of Australia today [queens birthday]. :)

I have updated the ticket with the information you requested as to why it was taking so long and I do apologize for the delay. Carl does not work in billing, and the ticket was posted to our support department, hence the answer given.

I know you should be happy with the service, as you were a customer before :)

Honestly, Myacen is a great company. Before I got into webhosting me and my partner had our web design site hosted by them.

got my email at 6.13 this morning, 2 and half days after signing up, robert was the first to email me telling me it takes 24 to 48 hours. Carl emailed me the second email as above.

Well maybe it would help if billing and support were to talk to each other so customers will know what the hell is going on rather than just pointless emails.

Anyway, I was impressed with myacen when i hosted an acount with them before thats why i returned, I was in no way meaning this to sound like I was running them down as hosts just needed some answers why the setup took so long. I got an email this morning saying it was due to an error when they were doing a routine upgrade.
