Hi,
I have tried 3 times now to get this answered by Burst who we purchase CPanel 3 and WHM from but with no luck, so I am hoping that people here may no the answer to this question:
I have Cpanel 3 and WHM manager installed on my dedicated server and was wondering how I setup a control panel just for resellers to add/modify accounts etc. I know it can be done, I just need to know how!
Thanks,
Justin

You simple choose the account you want to turn into a reseller in the web hosting manager. You select the features you want them to have. From now on they can go to their site like www.yourdomain.com:2087 and login to their private version of webhostingmanager.
Hope that helps.

Just to elaborate a little more,
First you have to log into your web host manager. Then, click the "Edit Resellers" link under "Server Setup".
Select the domain name you want to have reseller privilages and click "Add". Then, go back to the same page, find the domain you just added in the "Edit reseller privilages" box, and edit the reseller to include the appropriate privilages.
I recommend creating packages using the "Cluster functions" area of the control panel so resellers don't have access to create whatever packages they want.
After you do that, resellers can access their private version of WHM by logging into the same URL you do, but instead of having the username "root" they would use their username/password combination.
Good luck!

i have observed even if you put default name server in reseller account setup it takes those one mentioned in server setup option. It don't take the one listed in reseller account setup while creating new account from WHM. we need to manually edit dns zone in order to list name servers. any comments on this ?

https://www.yourdomain.com:2087
or
http://www.yourdomain:2086
it will not work if you just type www.yourdomain.com:2087
because port 2087 is for their SSL method.
