I'm looking for some good accounting software, I've heard quickbooks is good...
I'm a canadian.... Most of my client pay in USD, but some are CAD.
Does quickbooks handle multiple currencies like this?
and... I would like the ending totals to be in CAD.
What do you suggest I do?
Thanks...

Quickbooks bought MYOB's Canadian operations. So I believe they have a version specifically designed for Canada.

Greetings:
Quickbooks and Peachtree are good for most small to medium businesses.
We started with Quickbooks, but moved to Peachtree for better reporting.
Thank you.

I have used both MYOB and Peachtree in multiple currencies and prefer Peachtree.

People who have a sound knowledge of GAAP usually prefer Peachtree. But, I've seen people with more casual accounting knowledge really struggle with Peachtree, and are usually better off with Quickbooks. I'm a bit less happy with Peachtree since Sage took them over. MYOB was pretty good last time I looked at it a couple years ago, dunno how they're doing now.

I am using QuickBooks online. It is a similar product to their PC version, but they also offer free unlimited support. Free trial available at: http://oe.quickbooks.com/

What about NetLedger [Oraclesmallbusiness.com] That thing looks pretty sweet, especially if you are running a business that is more than web hosting
