What is the best "Admin Interface" for Red Hat 6.2 ?

I'm new to dedicated servers and my admin role -- it seems to me the interface for Dialtone Internet (redhat 6.2 on linux) is kinda clunky and a little confusing.

I asked them if I could run Webmin and they replied, "yes, but we don't support it". So, I'm not sure if that means if I foul something up if I'm just "on my own".

In any event, I'd like to use Webmin if it is as good as I hear, and if it is indeed less clunky than the "Server Interface" used by Dialtone Internet for it's dedicated servers.

Recommendations?

TIA!!

I'm pretty sure webmin is for more experienced people, if you can't handle dialtone's control panel, you probably won't be able to handle webmin,

Last time I checked, most of the stuff are just like a text/web interface meaning its like editing config files over the web.

Also, most people who say webmin is good is because its free. :-)

I guess what I meant was in part that the DI server interface seems a little confusing cause it's kind of 'dumbed down' a little too much. I have worked with linux before at the command line and written some basic scripts, but it's been a while.

I have heard very good things about webmin, and hope to learn more about it -- like whether I can set it up successfully with DI's "custom" red hat installation. I don't know exactly what all they have done to customize the install of RH 6.2, but they have some scripts in place and caution against making any changes to them or certain directories outside of home ("don't modify anything outside of your home directory").

Since they do not support webmin, it looks like I'm forced to seek advice elsewhere. Like here :)

Hopefully, someone here runs a web server at DI and has a lot more experience than myself with them!

Anyone?
