I had someone ask me today whether there was any 3rd party mods available for the RAQ control panel. I have seen various extra addons, but no actual replacement panel as such.
Would be interested to hear if anybody knows of any such things.

This isn't *exactly* what you were looking for, but I found a .pkg file someone has put together to install Webmin on the Raq.
http://cobalt-aid.sourceforge.net/files/

I haven't tried this, so I don't know if it would screw anything up. Has anyone else tried this?

Installed the webmin on my raq and it's working fine right now.

Just follow the direction on not messing with rAQ CP stuff.

Great for easily installing perl modules...

Do not install webmin unless you know what your are doing.
You can mess you the cobalt gui and database info.
just a warning.. lots of people installed it, then end up
having to reinstall the OS cause they touched something
they should not have..

Uh, what is the point of installing webmin on a Raq? I mean, why pay for the Raq's GUI and then not use it?

I can see why one might not want to use the Raq's GUI, but in that case you should get a non-raq which will be much faster and cheaper.

I can think of a *few* reasons, like easily managing Cron, etc, but no good ones. I've always been too scared to do it. I figured I'd end up toasting my box. If I have the chance to screw something up, I generally do.:D
