really neither. Just go with a real cheap host. Like one of those 15/year hosts. :)

A free host? Well, it really depend on your focus of your website's quality.

I agree with what TechnoHosts suggested, it's a wish money to spend.

A $15/year might have worse support than a free host. Free hosts are mostly ad-supported which allows them in most cases to hire a few techs and a real team. $15/year hosts are to 99% ad-free, and believe me ...$15 per year isn't going to keep them above the water surface.

I really wouldn't recommend freeservers.com...all I ever had with them was problems, poor support, and I still get there damn newsletter two years later!

both of those hosts are free. i think im gonna go with 0catch.com because they supply up too 200MB and 150 mb to begin with. Freeservers.com supplys only 20MB to start with and only up too 100MB after all. But freeservers.com does supply unlimited email adresses. But i can always use hotmail or something.

I think its sneaky and annoying that hosting companies will try to get your business any way they can. If you go to 0catch.com and then 150m.com, they look amazingly the same.

0catch.com has a Partners program. I believe 150m.com is one of their partners, as are sites like angelcities.com and wtcsites.com.

Just a little background information: Matt Heaton founded 50Megs.com and later sold it to about.com. about.com also owns freeservers.com. He recently founded 0catch.com.

I believe that both 0catch.com and freeservers.com put pop-up banners on free sites, as well as placing an embedded banner.

You can have the banners removed at 0catch for about 7 dollars/month. The paid site also has 250Mb of storage vs 100Mb for the free sites, plus hotlinking is allowed for paid sites.

Freeservers has one free account plan, and 3 paid account plans which can be seen on their website.
