Anyone else see the new layout at Hotscripts? It really caught me by suprise, looks nice although I find it harder to navigate around than the old one. I suppose that just comes with change of ownership. They also have forums now...

One thing I did notice on the listings pages. You know when there are multiple pages of results, and you click to go to the next page? Usually there is

at the top and at the bottom of the page. Well, it's only at the top.

So that means I always have to scroll back to the top to go to the next page?? :confused: :eek:

It is the same thing really just a few new graphics and a color change... I think a nice suddle blue would have been better.

well red is a little more sensible given the name...

it's a little too red though I agree. A bit harder to read than the old one too.

... and another site with those cut off rectangles... just my opinion but they're right up with blink tags for me these days :D

I like it... the new design looks cleaner. But the old one was simple to use. It's about time that they gave the site a new look though as the old design has been used for a good many years now.

It's about time! The red is a bit of an overload on some of the pages like adland pointed out, but other than that it's pretty nice. Cool design for the forums too.

So it was a change in layout/color - I visit hotscripts.com yesterday and sensed something new, but then again I thought I was only dreaming.. ;)

Yes. Yes. We got that. The point is there's too much of it. Most of the ones who seem to like it are the kids who wRiiTE ThInGs lIkE tHis. And the people who do that are not as likely to develop commercial sites and pay money for scripts. And if the people who do spend $ become annoyed and use Hotscripts less, then their advertisers will be less inclined to spend money there. As it is, if I was a HotScripts' advertiser, I would be voicing my dissent - the red overpowers everything including the ads.

Looks ok but you would have thought that they would have set a background colour as orange and red are a bit too much on my screen.

That place looks like a Las Vegas billboard now....=/

OK guys, now how long until we can convince Headsurfer to buy it and change back to the old layout? :)
