lonesail: How much bandwidth do your accounts include?

lonesail

Well, we're just starting out, so we temporarily set it to "unlimited", simply because we don't want to set it too high or too low. But it will not always stay that way. Once we have a good sence how much bandwith average customer needs for each account type, we will set limits.

Of course, for customers that signup with us while we have "unlimited" offer, these new limits will not apply and will stay unlimited as long as they have an account with us.

Thank you for asking.

For the price, the bandwidth is generous.

But what exact do you mean 07/23? What if people sign up and virtual 100 account today? Does it mean he/she can still enjoy reasonable "unmetered" bandwidth after 07/23? Or does it mean all "unmetered" bandwidth will become invalid after that day?

Thanks.

All it means that unlimited bandwith will not be available to NEW customers.

All EXISTING PAYING customers continue with unlimited bandwith for as long as they renew.

All EXISTING NON-PAYING customers will have unlimited bandwith until 7/10/2002 when their free accounts expire. If they choose to stay onboard and pay, they will also continue to have unlimited bandwith.

so old members are allowed to host 100 gig bandwidth sites with you?

Why people want to abuse the service?

hostiva has implmented new rules and the "unmetered" bandwidth is an favor to existing members. IMO.

As I mentioned before on this board, this is a legal language that protects us from abusers. We would not do anything like that a customer. We respect and value our customers too much for that. :)
