At the moment I am using Windows 2000 (with SP3).

I am planning to buy new faster PC and it will have Windows XP Pro installed (with classic themes, not ugly blue theme).

So so far i'm the only with OS X.. and i have only OS X 10.2, as i sold my peecee away in december. it had Redhat (sometimes also Mandrake) and some Windows that i never used.

Too lazy to install Linux to my machine, as i can anyway use the freebsd version programs instantly, and like compiling the Unix programs from source... :D

I voted OS X also. I have a Suse 8.2 machine sitting 3 feet from my OS X machine and I can hardly ever find a reason to turn it on.

The single thing that puts OS X ahead of linux for me is not Office or Games, but the web browsers. Camino and OmniWeb are the purest form of eye candy I have every seen. Not only beautiful, but really reduce eye strain when you spend a lot of time surfing.

Please. I am not trying to convert anyone. I don't want anyone to switch to the Mac. Everytime there's a new virus attacking Windows boxes I am happy again that I benefit from security through obscurity.

2k all the way. (Me, My Mom, My Dad, My gf, all 2k) From the systems I have seen with XP on them, like this one I am using at this moment at work, just plain sucks. IE on this box is always crashing (never have more than 4 windows open at once, or it will crash) I have all skins turned off and everything, and its still dog slow.

Do you like Safari? I used Chimera / Camino untill the v.71 of Safari leaked out, and i now mainly use that for browsing (then Camino, links, IE).

Oh - I like to see the diversity of the OSs you guys have here. :D :D

XP for now... I plan to have RH as the only OS on my new machine when I have it in a few weeks (mayby I will still have XP as a 2nd OS, not sure yet, will decide when I see if there are too much tasks that I'm unable to do with Linux... actually I never been using Linux on the desktop yet, only as a server)

Safari will be great, but I am dependent on the Keychain access that Camino provides so well. I don't think Safari supports it now, and if it does it's probably a hack. Remember that Safari is in beta.

Computer 1- OSX (my favorite)
But I also have Virtual PC with XP home.

Computer 2- WinXP Home. I just do not use it much.

Computer 3-Dual boot with RedHat9 and Lindows. (Mostly just to play with, hardly ever gets used.)

On a side note Safari is a great browser for OSX. But I also use Opera sometimes.

I use Red Hat on my primary PC, and can't say enough good things about Linux. I use a combination of a GUI and the command line, and I love having the flexibility and power this offers.

If I was a gamer, I'd probably have XP installed on another computer or partition. But I am afraid of games, as I know I'd become addicted, and so I am sort of glad most games aren't available for *nix yet.
