in the my raq4 gui I have pop relay box. Do you suggest to install "RaQ4-RaQ3-POP-before-Relay-1.3pre2.pkg" or not.
Indeed how can I check current version installed?

In the same section that you'd install things should be a list of what is installed and if one POP-Auth is installed, I really don't see the point in installing another???

I've checked /var/lib/cobalt/uninstallers directory but didn't find that package. So doesn't raq4 comes out with pop before relay installed?

It isn't installed, but they have a version on the Cobalt updates page. I never installed it and have the one you mentioned. I thought you had already installed it from the updates page...

In theory, the RaQ4-RaQ3-POP-before-Relay-1.3pre2.pkg was replaced with whatever they list on the Copbalt updates page.

so do I must install the .pkg or I can utilize pop before relay without installing the pkg?

You must install the .pkg.

The current version is on the RaQ4 download page: http://www.cobalt.com/support/download/raq4.eng.html (that page is for English-language RaQs, which I assume you have). It's about the middle of the page.

Make sure you've got all the RaQ updates installed. Start at the bottom of the page and work your way up. Don't skip any. Don't worry about installing a .pkg file twice, the RaQ won't let you (you'll get an error message).
