Hello

My registrar rejects one of my nameservers while hosting firm insists that other cusomers do not have any problem with name servers.

This has forced me to host my DNS records on a third party nameserver.

What can be the problem?

Regards,
Mac

Well, what was the reason your registrar reject your nameservers? Do let me know either over here or via email - auyongtc@maxis.net.my

It could be the common thing as some registrars require both nameservers to be on a different network. This is to ensure availability (after all, that's why you need at least 2 nameservers anyway).

The common practice here with webhosts, are that they have 2 nameservers (virtual one most of the time) on the same network. So if the network is down, it cannot resolve at all. That's why different network is required.

But all is not lost, if this is the case, I'll help you out and guide you to some free secondary nameserver services available on the internet (don't you just love free stuff? hehe :D)
