Subject: Important changes to your FireProof Solutions domain management conversion notification

Hello - DomainsPricedRight.com is here to serve you!

We have contracted with your former domain registration provider, FireProof Solutions, to provide you with a new place to manage your domains.

Don't worry - you'll enjoy the same great domain management tools and our friendly service. Just go to http://www.DomainsPricedRight.com and log on exactly as you did before. Please use the same customer number, login ID, and password. This is where you'll manage your domains from now.

Customer number: *******

As our way of welcoming you to DomainsPricedRight and saying "thanks for converting," we've added two powerful FREE new management options you're sure to enjoy!

- FREE! DOMAIN NAME LOCK for your convenience and security. Why Domain Name Lock? Because we're ever-vigilant when it comes to your security. Your domain names are valuable, so they can be a target for hackers out for mischief - and thieves out for worse! Domain Name Lock is fast, easy to enable and keeps your valuable names oh-so secure. Domain Lock puts your names in Registrar Lock, meaning they are secure not only on our site, but also at the registry, the very top level of domain administration. No one but you will be able to change DNS information or update contact information. No one but you can delete, modify or transfer your names, either!

- FREE! AUTO-RENEWAL DE-SELECT. We are leaving "Auto Renew" as the default option, so that if you don't respond to our reminders and forget to renew, we'll try to do it for you and prevent you from losing your domain. But if you don't want us to automatically renew your domain for you, all you have to do is log on at your Domain Manger, select the domain(s) and uncheck the auto renew box. It's that easy!

In case it's been a while since you checked in, here are two exciting new products we've added:

- NEW! HOSTING ACCOUNTS! If you're ready to host a new web site (or change from your current host), now's the perfect time. Our proven, secure, reliable servers give you peace of mind. And there's a sure to be an affordable plan that's just right for you. Check out our selection! at: http://www.secureserver.net/webhosting.asp?prog_id=domainspricedright

- NEW! WEB/EMAIL SERVICES! Even if you don't build a Web site to go along with the domains you register, you can still have a custom email address to go with it! We offer a variety of affordable plans that accommodate your needs, whether basic, complex, or somewhere in between! It's easy to upgrade and add storage too. Check out new Web/email at http://www.secureserver.net/email.asp?prog_id=domainspricedright.

We hope you'll enjoy and take advantage of these FREE new management tools. Thank you for your understanding and support. If you have any questions, please email us at support@securesever.net or call at 480-624-2500.

Sincerely,

Domains Priced Right

P.S. Remember, we will provide you with excellent service and your domain management tools will remain exactly the same. We've simply provided you a new place to manage your domains. Enjoy the FREE tools we've added, and check out our specially priced Email and Hosting packages, too! Thanks again.

What is that all about? I can't login to see if there was some sort of announcement about it or anything, looks like my reseller account was deleted and someone is trying to hijack my clients. I DID NOT give anyone permission to email my clients with any offers from our competition. This could get messy.

Has anyone else got a letter like this?

*edit, changed the title of the thread to prevent an innocent reseller from getting a bad name*

I never heard back from go daddy support yet. *bump*

How long had you been a reseller? Maybe the initial year was over and you somehow failed to renew in time...

You're right, prime.

DomainsPricedRight is a reseller as well and didn't actually do anything wrong so i just changed the title of the thread.

I heard back from them an hour or 2 ago and looks like it's a billing issue.

They said they tried to contact me but i never had 1 call or email from them and as far as i know, the account was renewed only a few months ago but I better dig up my old statements just in case.

They should have at LEAST emailed me before they decided to spam my clients and take over.

They'll probably lose a good client if they don't fix this today.

So if they delete your account, they sell your client list to another reseller?! Wow.
