Along with many of you, I am on the hunt for a reliable, affordable hosting service. A week or so ago I posted a message here and asked for advice. I thank all who responded. One of the suggestions was to search, ask by word of mouth, etc. I've done that and have come up with several that were recommended....and am not sure how to now narrow down. So if any one has had experiences with Solo, Siteworks, OOODomains, DataPeer or HostPro, I would be greatful to hear of your good or bad experiences. Thanks. I really appreciate your input!!
Aloha,
well if ya call hostpro ask for PJ Marcelo he has been there a long time and is very good tell him Chad said Aloha,
Hostpro is very good and stabel with unix stuff I have had probs with there NT stuff so if it is unix you are OK
I like the fact they are like a true virtual server with your own conf file to edit etc... so that is nice as it allowq you to tweak a little more
no experience with the others but for unix adn reliablity mission critical stuff I like hostpro a good panel for you to use easy to admin emails block spammers MySQL admin , Cron etc...
I would say check em out they are a bit more but ya get good service from them on the unix side

I can only speak about OOODomains, I have few domains register there, I can only recall one time I had ask for help.
They responded to my emails in less then (1st. email < 2 hours, and 2nd. email < 1 hour).
I like that you can update DNS, Contact or any other information for all your domains at once.
Yes I'm pretty happy with them, I wish there prices would drop below $10 ;)

As a newcomer in any forum, you should read the FAQ and guidelines. they will help you get started properly. For instance, the one for this forum suggests you use the search feature (and tells you why you should). You'll learn a lot more that way, especially on frequently asked questions (like about 000domains.com)
Click on the Search button on top of the forum and enter the name of the company you wish to check on. You'll get a ist of results in descending order (the most recent first).
Hello
I have no experience with these except 000domains.
I have more than 15 domains with 000domains and never seen any problem with the.
Friendly and quick response. No problem on their control panel interface.
They are the best in domain registration.
By the way I have used many of them and the worst is registerfly.com with a very slow interface filled with several bugs and errors.
Regards,
Mac
