I have a question about CyberCash. I might start a hosting company in the near future. I hear this billing software from webhostingbilling.com integrates with cbercash, and Cpanel 3, which is what I would be using. Now, , I want to know which one to buy. On cybercash, there are different things, like ICVERiFY, WEBACCEPT, Cash Register, etc. Which one would I get? How much is it monthly and per invoice, (Im confued on their website), and is there a setup fee? Woudl the billing statement say my compnay name or Cybercash? Thanks!

I believe that they have a gateway for their service.
It processes CC in realtime while the customer waits for a few seconds. I think that it's roughly the same as authorize.net(that's what we're using)

Webaccept and webauthorize are for accepting CC via internet.

Cybercash may seem confusing, but their development kit gives you a lot of flexbility. If you have your own merchant account and Secure Server, its better off to go with someone like Cybercash, it looks a lot more professional than going with a third party charging for you and taking a whole big chunk of it.

Hi,
with cybercash, you would be looking at the cashregister part... however....

You should call cybercash and make sure they are even taking new customers. We got a letter saying that since verisign bought them out, they are serving existing customers, and no longer taking new ones.

If this is the case, I do think that the billing software you mentiond also works fine with authorize.net . We use billadmin, and it works with both also.

I do think authorize.net is a touch better though. We have cybercash and authorize net, and I tend to lean towards authorize net.

Thanks! Whats so good about authorize.net? Do you assist in getting your own mechant account? Are their setup prices and normal prices cheaper? How are they better? Thanks for your help!
