Hello, i keep getting domains go down on my box, when i do a traceroute it come up as not being able to resolve domain name, but ftp, mail, ssh still work.

It does not affect all domain, they can be IP or name based.

Give us an example of a domain you are having problems with. I'll look at your DNS settings.

is the one that has been down for a couple of days, the others came back online when i restarted DNS and apache.

You have neither an A record for info-pub.co.uk nor www.info-pub.co.uk. You need to fix this.

You can set your A record for info-pub.co.uk and www. as a C/NAME to point to info-pub.co.uk.

oh the joy of it, though still getting intermitant loss for other domain which have posted support ticket for.
