Does anyone know a way to check on the connection of a certain NOC using their IP address or web address, please let me know.

I am trying to co-lo-cate my server in a NOC. However, I would like to know the connection of the NOC. I only know one of their IP address.

Thanks in advance

Just ask. Most NOC or co-lo services should fully disclose their network topology to you. Most co-lo facilities have decent connections to the outside world these days -- ask to make sure. However, what is more important is the network topology once inside of the NOC. For example, do they use 100Mbit throughout or are you on a 10Mbit line. Is your machine connected directly to a switched 100MBit connection or is it on a hub. Many co-lo's have hubs for each rack unit. This means that the entire rack shares one 10 or 100 Mbit connection, which is fine for small low traffic sites but could cause problems for high volume sites. Do they offer redundant network connections between your machine and the switch/hub.

What about their power backup, generators, etc.?

I don't know of any independent way of verifying a data center's connectivity. In fact, I don't think it's technically possible. Huck is right, the best way to find out is to ask. Most places will be honest with you.
