I have looked over it and it looks really nice and I have other people say they like it.
The only reason I am not using it is because it needs to be run on a virgin install and when I contacted BurstNET about using it before they installed WHM/CPanel, they told me that CPanel needs a virgin install to work, so if I use Bastille, they may have issues with CPanel.
Aloha
ahhh good to know ;)
Virigin system? (Who comes up with these terms)
You can install Bastille Linux on an exisiting system. I have installed it on several of my existing RedHat boxes. I don't use cpanel, so I do not know those issues.
However, Bastille secures many admin commands so that only root can use them. If a web interface utility is running as the web server, then some of these commands may become unavailable, thus causing problems.
hi,
someone can post instructions specific for cobalt on installing Bastille 1.2.0 ? I mean what download(only the main rpm? or also perl-ui module),where upload and how to install.
thanx
