Gigabean needs a good business card.

We are looking to have about 500 business cards printed up locally, either on plastic or a marbelized card stock (both upper end as far as quality). The local company will take our design and, depending upon which type of card we go with, they will cost between $75 and $140 to have printed.

The main reason we are in need of some outsourcing for experience, is that our current logo doesn't lend itself to one or two colors (as far as our non-graphical imagination can see).

We are willing to pay up to $50 for a business card layout that fits in with our current logo and will pint out well with a single color.

If you need to know more about the colors or card stock available or if you have access to publish/print your own high quality cards, feel free to contact us with your questions.

Thanks, in advance, for your consideration of this.

I'll place a call into the business card printer and find out what format they want the card graphics in. We'll receive all other information they can provide at that time.

We will be able to pay by CC, paypal, or money order.
Don't worry about responding if your cost is over $50.00.
We think it should take someone of experience and talent less than an hour to make one snazzy business card layout with a monochrome logo (based off our existing logo). It shouldn't be anywhere as complicated as making a banner or full color logo, right?

We are reviewing all portfolios provided and will post any new parameters here.

I can design business cards in the correct format for you.

For everyone elses benefit, cards should be designed and exported as EPS or Press Ready PDF file.
This ensures that lines remain as vectors instead of being converted to bitmapped images. Same goes for fonts too!

I have designed and printed over 40 business cards (1 and both sides) for clients, and could do the same for you.

Check out my site at http://www.7squares.com for some examples of my work.

My msn is: natornet@hotmail.com if you want to discuss this further.

Thanks.
Brett

Most printers should be able to accept and probably prefer PageMaker or QuarkExpress files on a 1-up format and have specific limitations like 1/4" borders, etc without a bleed charge. Colors should be fairly easy with only 1 color/1 layer.

Cards are usually a 10-20 min job if the logo was already pre-prepared, a few minutes more otherwise. Let me know if you want me to work up something. We can discuss the compensation.
