I have a dedicated server, but use a 3rd party server for customers email. Anyone have suggestions for putting email software on my own server, including the option of customers being able to add their own pop boxes by control panel. i.e is qmail or dmail any good, and do they have a web interface for customers.

The pop software would have to be able to install on a live server already running.

QMail is very nice and very easy to install and configure (as long as you follow the directions). It also has a tool called qmailadmin that lets you add pop boxes, aliases, etc, using a web interface. I would recommend you look into it. :)
