does anyone knows well about linuxwebnet.com ... about dedicated server...

I got a server with linuxwebnet from the special offers fourm. It is an old pentium 233 server that they offered at a really really low price. I planned to use it for secondary dns and backups. So far I've only used it for monthly backups.

I had problems with the server crashing at first, and they went out of theiir way to help me out and reinstalled the Redhat 7.3 OS with my requested partitions and following up to see that everything was running ok. Since the reinstall, the server has been running for 51 days. I was happy with their service.

Speeds started off very good, at a little greater than 1 MBps to and from Rackshack to my 233 server there and sometimes higher.

Today speeds are slow though at only 177.01 kB/s from the rackshack server to the linuxwebnet server while I can transfer from the rackshack server to an account at futurequest at 1 MBps at the same time. The route to linuxwebnet goes:

I don't know if any of this is at all useful to you or not, because again, my server at linuxwebnet is an old bargain server ($29/month) and might not even be on the same subnet as their normal servers.
