I'm getting an NT Server and I was wondering if it's possible to have the my RAQ4i handle the DNS for my NT server?

Thanks
Abbas

Shouldn't be a problem...I use my RAQ3 DNS for my home machine on a DSL line.

Conceptually there should be no problems. The DNS server must be accessible to resolve domain names. The only thing to make sure of is that the proper name server is listed with your name registrar.

Absolutely. The Cobalt DNS interface is so easy, I think it makes a great DNS server.

So it is as easy as putting the NameServers of my cobalt under when registering a Domain, and then setting a "A" record & Mail MX records for the Domain with the IP pointing to the NT Server's IP?

Thanks

Yes, or the IP that the domai is set up on (on the NT box).
