I have a Nomad II and it's great. If you want a mp3 CD player, get the Rio Volt.

My friend has it and he says it doesn't skip. I've also read tons of great reviews for it. If you do get it, just upgrade to the latest firmware and you should have no troubles.

well does it read the ID3 tags properly? also, what about the sound quality?

My dad bought one of those cheap CD MP3 players from EasyBuy 2000 and it works great.

I've got a Saehan MP-Man F-20 which works like a charm.

I use to have one Siemens SL45, it work great both as phone and MP3 player. I would recommend this if you thought that 2 in 1 might be good.

I have a Memorex CD/CD-MP3 player. It's work pretty well. Read all the ID3 tags (song name - Album Name- Year)
I bought that for $99 in Costa Mesa(CA) In january of this year, I can't remember the place, I think that it was in "The good Guys", but not sure about that.

The phillips expanium is a cool portable cd/mp3 player. It also plays cdrw with ease.
