I have a customer who has three servers at a popular 'low end dedicated' hosting shop, and he's asked me to take a look at setting up clustering.

Server #1 is live, taking hits now, and runs Cpanel5.

Servers #2 & #3 are blank, fresh installs of Cpanel/WHM 6.

I see there's a clustering section under the new WHM, but can't find any docs on how to set it up.

Is anyone experienced with this who could point me in the right direction? If it gets hairy I may just outsource the setup process (to one of you).

I see. So the menu item does nothing right now? And if we want to cluster, we'll need to do it 'the old fashioned way', outside of Cpanel/WHM completely?

what would be the 'old fasioned way'?

Setting up so that mysql runs on one server, apache /ftp on another, email on another etc.

Or using LVS (linuxvirtualserver.com) to load balance http requests..
