Hi I am looking for a new host I can transfer my UBB to, which is currenlty on futurequest.com, but they are about to terminate my account by the end of this month for having exceeded their usual bandwith limits. Seemingly my board got a little too much traffic.
Well I need a new dedicated we host, that doesn't charge too much. Has easy from server to server transfer abilities. Can run a UBB flawlessly, requiring PERL 5 and MySQL 3.23.40 preferably or 3.23.39. Can hold 100 GB of bandwith or possibly more.
Maybe even one that is not too strict about explicit language and content.

How much traffic are you using?

What exactly do you mean with how much traffic? Daily page views? Individual?
Well I am having difficulties checking this right now. But my board alone, has had Page views this month (07/2001): 200528... that is in a week.

Try posting in the ad section. Include how much bandwidth you need and your price range.

100 GB for is way to much for a normal shared account, especially if you are using UBB, a CPU hog. Think of 200 accounts on a shared server and everyone is using 100GB, shudder.
Changing to vBulletin is indeed a good idea. Are the 100 GB mit mod_gzip or not?

I'm guessing no, or the forum is quite graphical :)

Wordplay,
Hosts are not allowed to advertise their services in this forum. Try posting exactly what you need (CPU, RAM, HD, Bandwidth, etc) in the Web Hosting Advertising / Offers Forum (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=4) forum.

Wow, I am so sorry. I didn't know they weren't allowed too.
The problem is i am not really that well informed about servers etc. For example i had no idea SERVERS have specified rams.
But um it wasn't 100 it was 44GB of bandwith. The problem is I am also installing a CHART which is most likely to bring up even more. And yes seemingly my members are very dedicated. Plus my board was just recently renewed and i will probably need more because it is still growing emensly.
And my girl friend needs me to host a second bulletin board for her web site which will have absolutely nothing to do with my web site. But i still have to host it... this girl makes me crazy.
Thanks for the feedback!!
