What do you all recommend as the best shopping cart? I am only interested in carts compatible with authorize.net.

What do you think is the best for linux? for windows?

We used PDG Shopping Cart for Windows on a site we finished a couple months back, http://www.sasshopping.com. The only problem it has is cross selling, it doesn't 'offer it :( However, if you program each item to be its own page, then you can add that feature yourself. PDG works with about 9 differen't gateways, and yes, authorize.net is one of them :)

Personally, I believe the very best shopping cart available is ShoppingQ E-Commerce - available at http://www.shoppingQ.com

it's web based, fast, and very powerful. Its not expensive and its easy to install. It comes with 30 templates and has many nice features. Check out the vendor's free trail offer - you will be very impressed. We really like this software and so do our customers.

Oh yea, it does support Authorize.net.
