View Full Version : A positive experience with Hostdime
BoneFish 05-27-2003, 10:42 PM A positive experience with Hostdime
First I want to apologize to Emmanuel for jumping into this thread
“ http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=147654 “ late last night it is not my nature to add to a negative lets bash and trash type of thread….
But it was late I was tired and frustrated…with resolving some dns issues …
well guess what it was ME who was WRONG ….I some how entered the dns incorrectly at different registrar to point to a new account that I just created over at hostdime….
To add fuel to my mood ..When I e mailed the registrar I was switching from they indicated to me that my dns input was correct ……..
Well to cut to the chase…. My problems with hostdime where exactly that “MY PROBLEM” ……….
Tonight to my complete surprise Emmanuel called me at about 9:30 to follow up on my help desk tickets from late last night …..The important thing here is that I never asked him or anyone to call me ….he did it on his own…..so I truly hope that Emmanuel and Kris and everyone over at hostdime will accept my apology ……. I look forward to a positive relationship with them….
Emmanuel thank you again for taking the time to call me directly …….that in my book is great customer service…..
Respectfully
Paul
PS Emmanuel you’re only about an hour away …if you ever get over this way ill buy you lunch / dinner which ever …..
idologicJeff 05-27-2003, 10:47 PM That was very nice of you to post a retraction. Well done.
Cheers
Jeff
Tropical Tundra 05-28-2003, 12:54 AM I'm glad things are straighten out for you bone and that you provided this update for everyone. Takes guts to say mea culpa!
blue27 05-28-2003, 09:18 AM Good to hear Bonefish.
hostdown 05-28-2003, 10:51 AM even a broken clock is right twice a day.
carwiz - I'm happy that you think you are happy...
btw..anyone find it a little odd that this guy had a website in his profile yesterday (that didn't work) and now it's gone after he claims to be happy.
I'd like to see this site after it propagates to see how well it truly works.
blue27 05-28-2003, 11:13 AM even a broken clock is right twice a day.
That's probably about 2 times a day more than you are right.
BoneFish 05-28-2003, 11:18 AM hostdown....you have me confused with someone esle ? i did not have a url in profile at any time on this board......
read my name BoneFish how does that equal carwiz ?
So Mr. Hostdown....please go to diffrent thread you you are going to be negative .......some where else i read a comment ...about you posting a pic of the owner of hostdime......dude you don't have to like them but as someone else here said thats creepy
hostdown 05-28-2003, 11:19 AM ok, I did confuse you with the other person, sorry.
It begs the question why are there so many posts about hostdime here at all when bigger players never have any.
SoftWareRevue 05-28-2003, 11:27 AM It begs the question why are you always searching for hostdime threads to flame?
Vestirse 05-28-2003, 01:12 PM Actually, I think he is begging for a banning. You've been warned numerous times, yet you still are up to the same tricks (well, I guess they're not tricks when we can predict them with great accuracy)
SoftWareRevue 05-28-2003, 01:17 PM I 'think' he's been warned too. But, I'll just add this as my official warning.
hostdown, Carry on your personal vedetta elsewhere. It will be tolerated here no longer.

SoftWareRevue, you should be in bad humor after that unmerciful beating your Spurs received at home at the hands of the lowly Mavricks. Why not take out your frustrations by banning someone.
I'm not mentioning any names.
surpass 05-28-2003, 01:50 PM Look at that, hostdown is so busy flaming posts about HostDime that he is confusing himself!
Anonemouse, where are you? Could you please close this thread, too-- or ban the person, or something?
Thank you Bone for being such a nice person and taking the time to post something uplifting! It gives me hope for this Internet world.
surpass 05-28-2003, 02:19 PM P.S. to blue27, the Family plan you have is a nice idea. There needs to be nice things like that around. :) Good job.

BoneFish 05-28-2003, 10:03 PM H-Down
You’re possibly the reason half the people that just visit here a few times are even aware that they exist…..and guess what IMHO because of your overzealous position. you lose all of your credibility …so in a odd way you may actually be doing them a favor......Its like the old saying goes even bad publicity in better then no publicity ………
You have become IMHO a lot the little boy who cried wolf in Aesop's fable …....If you need do a search on google and read it …..Then you may think twice on how should handle your disenfranchisement with hostdime ……
Regards,
BoneFish

I was sleeping
I don't think hostdown will bother us anymore, he was quick to send a trouble report in another name because someone else was "putting him down", so maybe now he realises what it is like.
