One of our people wants all his emails forwarded to TWO accounts on the same server.

Basically, the idea is that if someone emails to user@domain.com, it should be delivered to user1 as well as user2

Can I setup a LIST called user and then make user1 and user2 a member of that list so that it accomplishes what I'm trying to do?

Thanks
Abbas

That's an interesting way to handle that problem. I don't know why but I've never tried that. Seems like it should work, though not sure how those mailing lists work exactly. I haven't had a need to have one. Hmmm.

Aloha
I used that at first in a situation but
was not happy the way the email came through the list and all

I am going to look at a dif way in the next week or so

It Works!!!

and you can have the same list name under different virtual sites as well- meaning lets say you have two clients with virtual1.com and virtual2.com and both of them want an email address called "accounts" that should forward messages to accountant and boss

So you can setup a list called accounts in both the virtual sites (unlike how you cant have the same email account for two different virtual sites)

P.S. Just make sure that you check the "Allow unsubscribed posting" for everyone to send email to that list, otherwise all the emails will get bounced back if you're not authorized to post to the list
