i have an account from a person who pays monthly to some host for a dedicated server... the server is really very good, but he is shutting it down because i think his costs are not getting done...

but from the Control Panel to any other i can't make out whose my real host... i mean the company whose server this guy uses... but one day i get a server mail of Quota Alarm (space left) and the mail came from

alarm@db2.dedicateddns.com

so who cud be the site... i tried opening the site but it never does gives 500 server error... can any one lemme know how do i know this real host?

Well dedicateddns.com is owned by linuxwebhost.com....

It would be easier if you gave the url to your site.

Yup I double checked its Alabanza.com for sure.


First I do a tracert to your site. Then I check the which company owns these classes of IP.

so how the mails coming from dedicateddns?

but i think alabanza is only providing Servers and at a nice high price! :)

When you do a whois on the IP. its owned by Alabanza.com


Your DNS records show the name servers 209.239.35.64 and shows ns.biznetindia.com.

That IP is owned by Alabanza too.

Therefore Biznetindia is a reseller for Alabanza.

well i can't say... because the guy is in India and he's a mess he can't do thing rite... so i hope to move to linuxwebhost... because i can't afford a $600 server or as alabanza gives $1600 ....

Well, try one of the Hosting companies advertised in Web Hosting Talk. I'm sure you will find a good host.
