Hi there,

Would really appriciate if anyone can share some info about IDN-domains (http://www.idnnow.com). Do I need anything special installed on the server (Linux, using WHM/cpanel) to handle IDN-domains? Any good registrars when it comes to IDN-domains?

Thanks,
Mac

IDN-domains = multilingual domain names, ML-domains is all the same thing. It is domain names with other letters than ASCII (a-z, 0-9 and -. IDN envolves that you are no longer limited to domain names with only the 37 ASCII-letters. You can now register and activate domain names also ncluding the å, ä, ã, â, à, á, æ, é, è, ë, ê, ç, ï, î, í, ì, ó, ò, ö, õ, ô, ø, ú, ù, û, ü, û, ý, ÿ, ñ

you have to do some configurations to DNS (that was 1 year ago, i dont know now) and the surfer has to have installed a plugin inav i think...

i dont like that way, i like more the way of nunames do with .nu extensions.

i had a couple of very good international .com names (last year) but i let it dropped . to hard to configure the server and to expensive to register all the combinations you can use per example in spanish of the same word.
