I need opinions and past experiences with these companies. I like how all the following reponded to me and I am doing a touch more decision making about them. I just wanted to get some feedback from the people around here.

This was my origional post...

http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=147424

These companies are who I am considering...

http://www.okihost.com/
http://host-tec.com/
http://globalpronetwork.net/
http://excelwebhosting.com/
http://crediblehost.com

Please DO NOT start a flame on another company. I just would like opinions (positive and negative if they apply) and your past experiences with the comapnies.

I appreciate any help with my ongoing search.

It might be to your advantage to be a bit more specific as to what you are using their services for. Every Host has good and bad points but they may be great for you, depending on what you use them for. For example I wouldn't recommend RackShack for someone who needs a managed server with handholding Support, yet they are great if you know what you're doing.

Just a suggestion to help you get better feedback....

my needs are on the other post but I will add them here as well...

I posted the following...
"Make an honest offer please ;)
Ok deal is...

I have a business web site designed on my PC.
I have my church website designed on my PC.

I want to register both domain names and put up both web sites onto the net.

I need about 5-7 MB for the Church Website and about 5 MB for the Business website for storage.

I have NO idea about bandwidth needed but the Church website is not going to be that busy (at least I dont think so) and the business is just starting out so same thing there.

I design most of the sites using Front Page 2k2 and Edit them with a basic text editor. I have never before maintained a website so I need user-friendly there. Also, I need a consistent uptime on the sites. If I can get some honest answers to these I am looking at spending about 200-300 for the first year and setup costs, reg fees etc. and about 150-200 per year there after. Would this budget get me what I am looking for? and what forum do I post into to ask about getting bids sent to me?"

... and I got decent responses from the companies listed above. I am still deciding on what I am going to do (I got some time yet) and wanted to get some people's opinions and experiences with these companies.

... no one is familiar with these companies or has used them in the past?

I did not mean to offend someone with the no flames thing. I just did not want this to come to that...

Okihost are the only one I (as a WHT user) recognise. So none of them have had vast amounts of good or bad posts here. That's not a bad thing for any of them.

Fire off a set of pre-sales questions to them all, and see who comes back the most prompt and courteously.

Hope that helps.
