Does have a nice look and sound. But, no special meaning to 1881. Also, it is a .net, rather than a .com. Therefore, I would place its value as high as $25 or as low as the cost to register.

There's a band in Milwaukee who might want it:

http://www.eighteeneightyone.com/

Pretty nice site for one designed by musicians.

1881 is a norwegian phone number for finding other peoples phone number etc. Still, 1881.no is not in use so I doubt you'll make any money selling it to them.

1881 is a palindrom ( i hope this is the translation for palindromo in spanish).

palindroms (if you dont understand perhaps is because is bad translated) are very easy to remember and 4 letters palindroms are all taken (or most of then) .
so a palindrom of 4 letters .com could have a value .. and with meaning the value could be 4digits.

but is numeric, and .net.
1881.net
i think could be around $30-$200.

palindrome n. word or phrase reading the same backwards as forwards (e.g. nurses run). palindromic adj. [Greek palindromos running back: related to *palimpsest, drom- run]

Thats the correct english spelling and definition (spelling for davla and definition for those who dont know)

Palindrome or not, the numbers mean absolutely nothing in most people's mind. You have a small band and the norweigan *69 equivalent. Anything over 20$ would surprise me (not to mention .net). So my appraisel is registration fee.

I have 1896.net but it has a specific meaning to me (first modern Olympics in Athens, 1896).

Still 8 is a lucky muber for the Chinese, who also like numeric domains more than latin characters. You might find a buyer for it for up to $100. Good luck.
