Well, it looks like the time has come for me to get my own dedicated server, not sure if thats a good thing or bad thing lol.

The CPanel/WHM license seems pretty high, and I do not really have any clients that use CPanel, so its safe for me to ditch it, even though I really enjoy CPanel.

I am planning on getting a red hat (7.2) server.

What FREE alternates are there to CPanel & WHM?

Where are you getting your dedicated server from that the price is that high? cpanel is worth EVERY penny. Keep in mind, there isn't a single free control panel that is going to have anywhere near the features of Cpanel/WHM.
