Hi,

We are currently reselling website hosting and are now looking at co-located server.

Can anyone recomend the sort of system specification we should be looking at?

Also can anyone recomend control panel software that would allow us to setup control panels for each of our clients hosted on our co-located servers?

Kind Regards,

The system specifications you need use, it depends on what the server will be used for and what load of data goes through it.I do recommend Linux as the OS on the system.

cpanel
ensim
sphera

Those are good software.

Which of these control panel software package is the best?

Will any of them allow us to provide a control panel for our clients giving them most if not all the current options they would get using the control panel software provided by the company we resell for (DonHost)?

Will any of them allow us to setup resellers with a control panel that will then allow them to give clients signed up under them a custom branded control panel?

Hmm, had a look at that site and the three sites that were supposedly resellers.

Only Burstnet actually mentioned the Control Panel and seemed to be reselling it... The other two were just taking advantage of the redirects to their site and promoting their services which was had just the opposite affect to that intended.

Can't help thinking that $100 per server, per month (assuming server hosted elsewhere than BurstNet) is a tad close to daylight robbery though.

The three places mentioned all offer it, regardless of what page the link resolves to. You might email them (the linked hosts) letting them know that the link doesn't exactly go to a helpful page.
