So do you think that they had root ssh logins enabled, and the exploit just reset the password, or do you think that the exploit enabled root logins too? :)

I think they exploit it to reset the password then switch whole building electricity power off :)

Trinity actually used a real SSH root exploit(older exploit). She also used nmap to portscan the machine.
