Registerfly's new service of whois info cloaking where they replace your name with theirs, is it safe? They say you can enable/disable at anytime. $10 for a 5 pack.

I'm also trying their new domain alert now and it seems to be accurate and quite useful. $10 / 5 pack.

I tested out the ProtectFly service for a few of my domains this week. Actually it is pretty cool how it works, if you disable the ProtectFly service on a domain it restores your prior whois info. The interface is pretty easy to add/modify your privacy domains as well.

Your domains are not safe with this service as there is no proxy agreement in place.

There is a link to their agreement in the ProtectFly section of their site(I made sure I read it first).

I recommend you to read the following thread before you use the Registerfly protect.

I have been with them for 2+ years and have had few issues. I would recommend them.

I've been with them for a little over a year. At first, I too had some issues about billing but of recent, they seem to be pretty fair. Their control panel is improving with new features and never had any problems as far as the domains go. The slowness of their site with my dialup makes me crazy but I will try out the protect feature with a throw away domain of which I have many. LOL.
