Do you guys/girls know any sites which allow commercial MP3 hosting?
A site which will allow me to upload songs by artists such as Eminem, 50 Cent and then stream them?
Please let me know.

No legal host would allow its customers to do that -- there's just too much risk that they face from the government.

At rapworld.com (http://www.rapworld.com), they are streaming music videos and songs, and I was just wondering how they might have done this.
When I checked their source, I got a site called ninesystems.com (http://www.ninesystems.com). I believe they allow streaming of all types of media, but I'm not sure. I've browsed the web site, but don't clearly understand, does anyone know if it does allow streaming of commercial videos and songs?

Depending on the software an enduser has on their computer, MP3 streaming is simple enough. However, unless the account holder has the copyright for those MP3's then he's going to find his account shot out the space hatch into the oblivion of cyberspace pretty quickly.
In short, unless a musican gives you permission, or you made the songs youself, you're in violation of copyright law and deserve a decent flaying.
It is not technical problem. Most host won't allow it because of legal problem.
You may try to find some offshore hosts which don't care about the copyright issue, but they would be very expensive.

I see, that's what I was thinking...but thanks for the replies.

well offshore hosting doesn't make it ok to rip off the artists that produce the music to begin with if that's the case ;)
We have bands and record companies hosted that might disagree with the whole idea of "if it's hosted overseas it's ok".

These organizations pay fees with the Music Companies that own the copyright on the material. It's all very legal and not all that costly.

A distinction needs to be drawn between what is technologically possible, what is legal, and what is moral/ethical. It is technlogically possible to stream MP3 from just about any site. In most nations it is not legal to do so. And a strong case could be made that it is not moral or ethical to do it even if you can skirt the law and get away with it as a practical matter.

This is what I am talking about:
RadioMoi (http://www.radiomoi.com:8080/rm/whysignup.epl)
BMI (http://www.bmi.com/home2.asp)
ASCAP (http://www.ascap.com/index.html)
SESAC (http://www.sesac.com/home.asp)
All of these organizations can provide you with a legal license to stream music...

right. My post was just assuming that the person streaming the music doesn't own the rights to it. If they do own the rights, obviously its legal.
