I took a look at inetu.net. You could do much better at dialtoneinternet.com and a few other companies. Going colocated, you would avoid their glaring deficiency, a poor choice in programs. I ahve my dedicated server with them and will make very different choices in programs when I go to colocated with them later on.

I don't have experience with either of the two you mentioned, but since you asked for one, with the possibility of another, I figured I'd throw another one at ya'.
I live in Southern California, but I colo with Tera-byte.com and have found them to be fantastic. You might want to check them out. Very friendly, helpful people and no b.s. which is nice for a change.

You own your server? I thought you leased it. Where did you buy it at and what was the cost? Did you have to load any software?

No, Chicken bought it shipped it and "dumped" it with Tera-Byte. I think he has no regret. They are excellent (Tera-Byte) but most of all human. You can lease a cheap RaQ3 or a Pentium too...

I never thought of it before. But I am a computer products reseller here in New York and mainly deal with small businesses and non-profits. No client of mine ever asked me for a Cobalt Raq so I never thought to look one up.
But I just checked with my distributor and got prices for Cobalt Raqs. I can buy and resell Cobalt Raqs at prices below retail and drop ship them to someone if anybody is interested.
My own hosting business requirements doesn't require such a large investment, so I can't justify buying one myself. But Chicken has and others of you might be interested as well. These Raqs have certainly piqued my interest.
As I said, not my usual cup of tea, but I'd be glad to help someone who wants to own one outright.
I do not have a merchant account, but I'm sure we can work something out.
You can email me off-list at spcover@scarsdaletech.com if you have an interest in a particular model.
Sorry if this off-topic, but I surprised myself by finding out I could actually deal in these things.
Regards,
Sean

I thought Mike was talking to Duster, but I may have been wrong. No regrets what-so-evah. Can't tell you the price quite yet as I just fired off an email to sp to see what he could offer. :)
Had to install Pop Auth, and some of Cobalt's updates, and Tera installed php and mySQL. It doesn't come with anything over the basic things you'd expect (Cobalt CP, sendmail, perl, etc...).
I am not all that great at figuring out what I need/want so if there are any suggestions, please email me!
