Not sure if it's the same as what you are asking about, but I have been having to use 'Hosting Controller' to manage some of my websites at a new host I have just signed up for. It's something like version 1.4. It's awful. Lots of spelling errors, unintuitive, and the help files are no help. It does allow you to manage many aspects of your site, but it takes days to figure out how. I had to ask the online tech support person to explain much of it to me. One day I set up 4 sites, and a couple of days later (the hosting controller was down for about a day) my information was all different than what I had set. This may be due to the host's db management or something though. It does allow you to do quite a bit, but it's awful to have to use/figure out. If you are thinking of using it as a service that your clients will have to use, be prepared to invest a lot of time into teaching them how it works. I am a Senior Web Developer, I have a BSc in Computer Science (ie. I program computers) and I found it difficult to use. Labels and descriptions are not really clear, and you've got to wonder about applications that ship with that many typos (what does the code look like? eek!).
