Hi

I was wondering if anyone had any comments about using a "Instant SSL Comodo" certificate. I noticed that they are a lot cheaper ($49.00) in comparision to a well established one such as Thawte ($199). All I need to know really is that the Comodo one is accepted on the main browsers and it doesnt come up with any kind of security issue.

Your advice would be appreciated,

Thanks

I've been using their cert since November of last year. So far no problems that I am aware of. No compatibility problems with recent versions of IE, Netscape, or Mozilla.

I use Apache+mod_ssl.

This cert also works with pop3s, but you have to manually install their bundle cert in OE to get it not to complain.
