I am going to be selling domain names along with hosting, design, etc...
So if you also provide those services.. i would love to know what type of sales you receive.
Also what is the ratio of new hosting or design customers/domain name purchases through you?

Taylor 05-23-2003, 04:11 PM I'm not going to be marketing it big. Just providing it to throw into mainly local hosting packages. Will be teaming up with a web design firm to offer a so say all in one package type deal... hosting, site design, domain name, coding.. the works...
wouldn't mind 5 or so a month. |

We make nice extra money offering it at the WildWest Min price. We registered about 2000 years of domains last year from may on (not breaking out how those are sold, most in 2year chunks).
Wildwest also has some nice extras that they sell - private domains, traffic blazer etc - that don't compete with your hosting business, but just take a click of a button to start offering. Makes for a nice bonus check every month, take that money put it back into advertising for your hosting and it really works out nice.
If you give them away, you will get requests for more, since they are so cheap you can give them away...
