We have a brand new Redhat server installed with Ensim 3.1. In addition to using this for websites we would like to utilize the harddrive space as private FTP storage. We are wanting to create different accounts with different access permissions all above or no where near the http side of things. We have been unsucessful in finding a method by which to do so in Ensim. Some way to do this MUST exist. We have seen all sorts of script mods that can accomplish this but our users are not very experienced in that type of thing on the backend. Whether going the scripting route on the server or installing some type of FTP server like the popular Windows based Proftpd we need to get this done ASAP!

Okay, we got it basically figured out. Only thing we are hanging on, is how to make it so the users can not back up the directory tree. First person to email me at the above email address *with the answer to my problem* I will pay them $10 via paypal.

You need to jail the users which is a whole process in itself.
