Ezzi down? whats up?

Yep, I've heard that they decided to reboot a router at 8:30! During Peek times, pretty crazy.

There goes 2 hours of coding work down the drain, that will teach me not to save regularly.

Ouch, I feel sorry for you. I just hope that this problem get's resolved fast.

My logs reported a SYN flood on a range of IPs before it went down. Went down at 8:47 (30 second checking).

I'm on with them w/ live chat. They seem REALLY busy (which is a good thing, would rather have them fixin it than chatting with me).

Yup, I just got off the phone with them. They rebooted a core router due to a syn flood :(.

Ezzi has always been great for me, so I know they'll get things right. It's just a pain when it happens during peak times, and you're running a cs server for scrims.

Yep. No problems here. Syn floods are a pain to deal with! Ezzi has been great, and every provider has problems (not that this is 'their' problem, someone else chose to attack their network).

I'm just glad it isnt just my box :stickout: (thought it may have been initially because the core router I was monitoring was 'up')

EzziSupport: we had a SYN flood on a segment of the network, and the Intrusion System got over-cautious and blocked all the ports on a number of machines

Not sure what you are talking about this is the first instance since the last day in March when we had any problems... I dont see any trouble tickets from you that our network has been down everyday this week. I am sure everyone would agree that we havent been down at all in a long time, especially not every night as you say.

If you are having problems with your server going down, let us know about it..... I know if my server was going down every night I would at least let the host know about it so they can look into it.

Edit: and just to backup ispclub, as I showed before, there have been no downtimes in a long while (well, except for today).

cool, I have faith that it will stay that way, i was frustraited and for that i appologize, I've emailed ispclub and outlined the reasons for the frustration. Sorry guys i look forward to having a happy hosting experience with ezzi.

Actually i must say, what ever was done tonight it's cut my ping times from 30-40ms to 8-15ms and my xfer speed is up from 700k to 1.65M/s .

I would guess a BGP route change.
